Worth area. PREMIER’S growth and expansion of services has created the need for the position of Production Supervisor.

 

 

Position Summary:

 

The following job description is a general outline of essential and common functions related to the performance of your job. All employees of Product support Services, Inc. are expected as a condition of employment to perform tasks as assigned by management whether included in your job description or not. Will oversee production operations, including Cosmetics, Cleaning, Labeling, Programming, Testing, Quality and Special Projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuous product flow in areas of responsibility

  • Ensure proper staffing levels

  • Evaluate processes and ensure they are being followed

  • Help design and set up special projects’ lines

  • Coordinate training and cross training of designated personnel

  • Evaluate new hires and internal staffing changes

  • Meet daily goals set by Management

  • Conduct periodic meetings with staff

  • Evaluate and set goals for departments on production lines

  • Monitor production levels from each department

  • Counsel employees

 

Skills and Specifications Required:

  • 3 -5 years supervisory experience

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and electronic schematics

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees

  • Experienced in design and set up of production lines

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

 

Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

  • Ability to lift 10 – 15 lbs
