Premier Logitech ("Premier") is looking for a Quality Supervisor to join our team!

Worth area. PREMIER’S growth and expansion of services have created the need for the position of Quality Supervisor located in North Texas.

 

 

Position Summary:

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring proper execution of products and customer satisfaction. Ensuring product delivered meets and exceeds customer standards. From leading a team of AQL Inspectors to implementing best practices throughout the production process while ensuring safety protocols and guidelines are adhered to and properly followed.  

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs and requirements to support and effectively contribute to the quality control processes.

  • Supervise, coach and counsel AQL Inspection Team.  

  • Measure, report and provide feedback on the effectiveness of the quality team’s performance.

  • Per the Control Plan, monitor AQL team members and their compliance.

  • Supervision of team members who perform a variety quality inspection.

  • Assess processes per client instructions for verification of FAI requirements. 

  • Assist in NPI (New Product Integration) and validation.

  • Assist in Configuration discovery, Q&A, development and validation.

  • As NPI continues at multiple levels, Train AQL Inspectors regarding requirements from Quality Control Plans. 

  • Assist in FAI requirement discovery / Approval Processes.

  • Provide feedback and review specifications for products or processes.

  • Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements.

  • Determine product thresholds for approval and rejection of materials.

  • Assist with training and establish cross-training guidelines.

  • Monitor performance and results to ensure the thresholds are being followed.

  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical and root-cause analysis.

  • When applicable, report quality audit findings and recommend improvements.

  • Support, Champion and Lead 5S/6S standards.

  • Conduct internal audits to validate current quality processes according to quality manual.

  • Coordinate with other departments to improve processes, resulting in higher quality standards to meet all of the customer requirements.

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.

 

Skills and Specifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience as quality supervisor.

  • Proven experience developing, documenting and improving quality processes.

  • A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough and timely FAI reviews to closure.

  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.

  • Knowledgeable in Lean Six Sigma and 5S.

  • Experience within ISO and Regulatory Environments are a Plus.

  • Outstanding communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 4 yr. degree preferred.

  • Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

 

Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

  • Ability to frequently stand, walk and sit and bend.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
