Position Summary:
The Endpoint System Administrator will oversee day-to-day operations as it relates to the imaging and deployment of Windows software and applications – both for internal and client-driven projects. The incumbent will have a dotted line reporting into Operations and be responsible for ensuring requirements from Clients and Operations are met in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:

Administer and manage (including patching) all imaging technology solutions, such as Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace One

Troubleshoot, resolve, and perform root cause analysis for client issues

Monitor, maintain, and optimize the environments to ensure performance efficiencies and optimization

Develop, maintain, and deploy software packages for deployment
-
Maintain patching and O/S upgrade procedures leveraging the imaging platforms
-
Maintain an understanding of the endpoint management technology landscape to stay abreast of trends and capabilities to assist our clients

Assist in supporting image deployment with OSD, as necessary

Develop and maintain reporting capabilities across collections, sites, and client environments
-
Ensure agent deployment across the organization and work to resolve any deficiencies

Design and manage the systems that support the Desktop/Laptop environment.

Define and follow Processes and Procedures for assigned platforms. Train technical resources (i.e. Desktop Technicians) in the operation and troubleshooting processes of the Configuration Management solution (e.g. SCCM)

Create pre-staged task sequences and implementations

Create and maintain an automated enrollment process for Google Chrome devices

Create and Maintain an effective process to assign bulk devices to customer-defined OU’s in Google Environment

Professionally discuss and resolve configuration and/or enrollment issues with all project stakeholders
Skills and Specifications Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, CIS, or related field or certificate in technology training or combination of training and experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience in administrating, maintaining, and monitoring one or more of these products: Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Intune, VMWare WorkspaceOne

Expert experience with Active Directory and Windows administration, including Group Policies, security, and access management

Expertise with maintaining Azure AD, including authentication, user administration, and synchronization with on-premises Active Directory

Must have solid knowledge and understanding of security best practices for SCCM systems including hardening processes

Must have solid knowledge and understanding of SCCM clients (hardware/software) including but not limited to installing, configuring, maintaining, optimizing, and supporting these clients

Knowledge and Experience in enterprise-level LAN management (specifically Windows Server), systems configuration, network directories, domain name services, authentication, email, security, and backup functions

Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting

Knowledge and Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems for use in a network environment

Ability to identify problems, analyze and plan actions necessary to resolve

Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to follow and/or provide concise verbal and written instructions

Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS network protocols and services
-
Knowledge of computer security vulnerabilities and protection methods

Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, technical writing is a plus

Strong Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Must be able to manage multiple customer admin consoles at the same time
