Position Summary:
The Life-Cycle Services Driver is responsible for the efficient transportation and delivery of goods in accordance with the schedule as determined by the Project Managers and Operations Manager. This position will providing direct customer service to clients while performing deliveries and pickups from warehouse to businesses on scheduled routes operating a Box Truck.
Essential Responsibilities:

Make scheduled deliveries from Premier’s warehouse to businesses.

Pick-up goods and materials from customer locations and return to Premier’s warehouse or third-party locations.

Unload and load freight as required by customers.

Load and unload palletized materials using pallet jack, as needed

Properly secure loads and assure loads will ride with limited movement during transport.

Count and document all inventory, overages, shortages, and damaged goods loaded and unloaded. Comply with all Department of Transportation standards and regulations.

Ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a courteous and professional manner.

Follow standard documentation procedures to obtain required sign off on pick-ups and deliveries using assigned tablet

Adhere to all safety standards, company policy and procedures both on the road and while loading/unloading materials
Skills and Specifications Required:
-
Must be able to drive a 26 foot box truck – auto and manual transmission.

Clean driving record for 2+ years

High school diploma or GED equivalent

3 years experience in distribution center or warehouse atmosphere, including receiving, pulling orders, packing orders, and shipping.

A valid Commercial Drivers License or ability to obtain one is preferred.

Basic knowledge with computer systems for data entry and inquiry.

Good and effective communication skills with diverse personalities.

Ability to manually lift boxes from 50 – 100 pounds.

Maintain a professional appearance with the ability to interact with customers, associates, contractors and vendors regardless of position or importance.
Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time up to 8 hours while driving
