Premier LogiTech ("Premier") is looking for a Receiving Lead to join our team!

Position Summary: The Receiving Lead will coordinate and oversee receiving area and personnel to ensure work meets quality standards and is performed according to standard operating procedures.
Work Schedule: 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm M-F, occasional Saturdays as needed).
Responsibilities:

Provide daily work assignments to staff and work with managers and other supervisors to coordinate personnel and resources as necessary to complete all work scheduled for department.

Assist with the development, revision and enforcement of inventory management and procedures including record keeping, work instructions, and other standard operational and work practices as necessary.

Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to safely move parts to proper locations and load and unload trucks as necessary.

Oversee the receipt of goods upon arrival verifying counts and quality documenting any signs of damage.

Complete transactions to receive product and process required paperwork.

Visually monitor inventory levels and communicate low levels to Supervisor or Manager.

Cycle count inventory according to established guidelines and assist with developing actions to correct inventory problems.

Complete inventory transactions to receive, assign location and issue inventory as required.
Skills and Specifications Required:
-
2-year degree a plus.
-
1-2 years related experience and/or training in a lead level capacity

Prior experience operating lift trucks and pallet jacks; Forklift certification preferred

Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions and documents

Excellent written and oral communication skills
-
Good math skills to calculate figures and inventory counts

Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite)

Problem solving ability
