Job Summary
To produce a master production plan for the month and to create a weekly internal production schedule which will meet our clients’ demand. This includes using the forecast provided by the client, product availability, and outstanding customer orders and labor availability.
Should be a super user in Excel and product control, floor control and inventory control software. Should have super user experience with SAP or other control software as mentioned.
Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the client to create a production schedule which will meet their demand.

Expedite outstanding deliveries from vendors by informing the client of product shortages to meet the production schedule.

Working with operations management and using a productivity guideline, advise operations management of added or reduced temporary labor required to fulfill the production schedule.

Advise Procurement of production requirements including internally sourced materials such that Procurement can purchase consumables in a timely manner to achieve production requirements.

Responsible for reporting of production volumes and efficiency metrics. These include internal company metrics as well as customer metrics. Must adapt to changing customer reporting requirements regarding content, calculation, frequency, and format.

Intellectual curiosity to view large volume of data, identify and reconcile discrepancies, and notify operations management. Produce alternative scenarios to resolve the issue.

Must understand the requirements and processes of a 3rd party logistics company.
