Premier LogiTech ("Premier") is looking for a Material Supervisor to join our team!

Premier’s growth and expansion of services has created the need for several new positions, including the position of Material Supervisor located in DFW Texas.

Position Summary:

Manage all facets of materials management including, but not limited to, warehousing, inventory, planning, forecasting, reconciliation, as well as managing personnel requirements to fulfill responsibilities.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Direct the procurement activities of material planning and acquire material necessary for the manufacturing process.

  • Forecast and plan material requirements.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to the production area.

  • Direct activities of the materials/inventory in the processing of new material requirements; through purchasing while managing phased out material to minimize obsolescence.

  • Maintain accurate inventories that meet or exceed turnover objectives.

  • Responsible for the reporting of all material related issues to operations staff in light of impact on production.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to further increase overall productivity.

  • Manage execution of small business fulfillment orders.

 

Qualifications:

  • BA and/or 4 years minimum experience or equivalent work experience

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Department knowledge of all aspects of Material Management and Logistics encompassing purchasing, material planning, transportation, inventory control, shipping, receiving and warehousing

  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment

  • Critical decision making and people management skills

  • Strong Analytical Skills

  • Team Builder

  • Computer Literate

  • Good Communication skills

Physical Requirements with or without accommodation:

   Ability to sit, stand, walk or bend for continuous periods

   Ability to work in a non climate controlled environment

   Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
