Position Summary:

Root Cause Analysis, Data Entry, Audit, Cycle Count

The Inventory Coordinator’s primary purpose is to perform root cause analysis by conducting daily cycle count, data entry, and audit of cycle count to determine discrepancy. Reconcile discrepancies accord to the policies and procedures and report the performance of the operation by daily KPI.



  • Perform regular stock take and cycle counting during the year and during the end of the year stock take, while conducting reconciliation in case of discrepancies during cycle count schedule.

  • Follow and implement the approved cycle counting schedule, so that discrepancies are identified and reconciled in timely manner.

  • Familiar with description (specification, unit of quantity, application) and location of material in order to perform accurate and timely cycle counting and stock taking.

  • Conduct regular physical verification to determine the actual quantity and account for variances.

  • Highlight areas of concern associated with inventory problems and highlight statement of facts surrounding the property loss, damage, destruction, or additions of materials.

  • Adopt a pro-active rather than a reactive approach, to minimize adverse consequences.

  • Identify and remove outdated or obsolete materials from active shelves and quarantine for appropriate disposition.

  • Implement and maintain a filing system of the facts, discrepancies, and issues identified during the cycle counting or stock taking process to maintain accurate records that can be easily retrieved.

  • Ongoing communication with end user representative regarding status of materials.

  • Thorough and clear communication with Supervisor and other team members.

  • Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions.

  • Safely operate a forklift as part of the cycle count and stock take processes.



Skills and Specifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working as a cycle counter for a similar organization.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience forklift operation.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, Access, etc.

  • Knowledge of Inventory Control and Cycle Counting processes and at least 1 yr experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System)

  • Ability to accurately calculate merchandise counts and reconcile both location and quantity discrepancies.

  • Ability to be proactive in diagnosing and troubleshooting inventory problems. 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.

  • Successfully complete a drug screen and criminal background check.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

  • English Speaking

  • Mon – Fri varying shifts, with mandatory weekend overtime Saturday and Sunday, Holidays when called on
