Premier LogiTech ("Premier") is looking for a Inbound Warehouse Supervisor to join our team!

Position Summary:


The Inbound Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for handling the day-to-day receiving and put-away of product.  This position is also responsible for continuous improvement, labor management, and following all direction set forth by the Operations Manager and Premier leadership.



  • Oversee receiving of international freight containers.

  • Manage stock control and reconcile with WMS (Warehouse Management System).Use software to receive, direct put-away.

  • Manage the put-away of product in the “Zone” designated area of the warehouse

  • Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status. Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.Report to management on activities and issues.

  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse employees. Communicate job expectations and coach employees, provide training and development for warehouse team. Determine staffing levels and assign workload.

  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance. Develops and counsel employee performance as needed. 

  • Support Operations Manager with ensuring optimal operational policies and procedures

  • Partner with leadership in communication with customers, suppliers and vendors.

  • Confer and coordinate activities with other departments to optimize processes.Recommend solutions to existing processes to reduce waste and increase quantity.

  • Assist Operations Management to ensure efficient space utilization.

  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.

  • Maintain standards of health, safety, and security.

  • Responsible for monthly invoicing of clients.





Skills and Specifications:


  • 4+ yrs warehouse supervisory experience, with heavy logistics industry knowledge; preferably for a large rapid growth warehousing operation.

  • Knowledgeable in multi-client operations

  • PC skills including WMS (warehouse management system), strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel, and intermediate MS Office Suite.  

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement.

  • Knowledgeable in Lean Six Sigma and 5S

  • Must be results-driven and have demonstrated understanding of managing metrics.

  • Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus.

  • 4 year degree a plus.

  • Successfully complete a drug screen and criminal background check.


Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work in non-climate controlled environment
