Job Summary
Provide key technical role in technical support on production line for Electronic Devices, Technical Training, Preventive Maintenance and Failure Analysis to component level as directed by Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities (list specific job duties)

Setup and support tooling and equipment on production lines.

Troubleshoot failures to component level on various electronic and video devices.

Provide failure analysis on various electronic devices to component level.

Preform Preventive Maintenance on tooling, testers and fixtures based on need and scheduling.

Proactively evaluate processes and ensure they are being followed.

Assess, collaborate, design and implement special projects lines as directed my Engineering management.

Evaluate and assess problems, define and implement solutions or corrective actions in a timely manner.

Determine the best process for use by technical employees to ensure the highest possible level of productivity.

Coordinate training and cross training of designated personnel.

Developing RBOM’s from Technical information provided by manufacturers is a plus.

Meet daily goals and tasks set by Engineering Management.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma, technical trade school and/or a combination of technical certifications from industry (level 2 or higher). Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree preferred.

Soldering experience is required, IP-610 Certification is a plus.

Experience with Cellular RF equipment and writing scripts for ei CMU-200, CMW-500 or Agilent 8960 is a plus but not a requirement.

1-3 years wireless/cellular industry supporting repair lines on engineering level is a plus but not required.

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and electronic schematics.

Ability to communicate with all level of employees and OEM’s, read, write and speak English fluently.

Experience in wireless OEM and Aftermarket software and hardware a plus.

Computer literate and experience working with Microsoft Office products ie. Outlook, Excel, Word and Visio.

RF Component level repair experience a plus but not mandatory.
