Premier LogiTech ("Premier") is looking for a Chief Financial Officer  to join our team!

Worth area. PREMIER’S growth and expansion of services has created the need for the position of  Chief Financial Officer located in North Texas.

 

 

Position Summary:

The CFO is the senior position responsible for all aspects of the company’s accounting, financial reporting, planning, and treasury management. The position maintains and executes cash flow planning and ensures availability of funds. This position is responsible for financial and cost controls to ensure the safety and proper use of all Company assets and operation within approved plans.  The CFO also is responsible for the areas of procurement, financial controls, and oversight of financial systems. This role reports to the CEO and must be capable of supporting the CEO in a variety of tasks across all aspects of Company operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee of the functional areas of general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, job cost and inventory, payroll, treasury, financial planning, and procurement

  • Provides support and leadership to staff; communicate performance expectations, coach employees and balance workload in a way that aligns with company goals and cultivates a positive culture. Provide mentorship, training and development as well as administer corrective action as needed

  • Responsible for financial reporting including consolidated reports and Board of Directors presentations

  • Maintain banking relationship, reporting and compliance with constant oversight and company guidance

  • Consult with Operations Management and Sales teams on customer contract opportunities and support related pricing and cost analysis

  • Create budgetary planning and help manage costs in alignment with company strategic plans

  • Maintain banking and auditor relationships and lead the presentation of associated financial information, provide oversight of reporting to tax service providers

  • Conduct cash forecasting and periodic review and approval of spending requests as well as review of A/R collections activity

  • Ensure appropriate financial controls are maintained, and implement new GAAP guidance as required

  • Function as a key advisor to owner and CEO

  • Work closely with operations to provide timely and relative financial data

  • Support pricing and customer quotes through help in structure or key inputs

  • Provide all insurance oversight for the company including cost benefit analysis and strategic direction for business, property, and health.

  • Oversee and manage financial systems, modifications and upgrades to streamline functions while positioning for growth

  • Ensure company compliance of relative policies and procedures

 

Skills and Specifications Required:

  • MS / MBA preferred

  • CPA required

  • 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance management experience including leading diverse teams

  • At least 5 years of senior managerial leadership managing a full accounting and finance function

  • Experience in startup or growth companies requiring “hands on” leadership, participation, and staff management

  • Experience in the technology, telephony, computer services or manufacturing industries

  • Experience in accounting for manufacturing, warehousing, and technology services, with extensive background in project accounting strongly desired

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles

  • Successful track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • High energy and self-motivated

  • Committed to continuous improvement

  • Demonstrated success communicating cross functionally at an executive level

  • Strong knowledge of accounting processes, procedures, internal controls, and integration of operational and financial processes

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus

 

 

Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

 

  • Position may require the occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
