Premier LogiTech ("Premier") is looking for an Operations Trainer to join our team!

Position Summary:
The Trainer is a critical role on our quality team within operations and is required to ensure the needed skills and capabilities are developed to deliver on the operational objectives. Responsibilities for this role include collaborating with all departments within the facility including close communication with the operations team to ensure compliance with all training requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:

Arrange and conduct preliminary training for employees.

Provide coaching and re-training to employees that are not meeting the quality or productivity standards.

Document each training program and provide follow up for refresher training if necessary.

Provide initial training all individuals inducted through job rotation activities by ensuring that they comprehend processes.

Perform process audits on staff to ensure work instructions are being followed effectively.

Monitoring and evaluating the trainee’s job performance against the approve work instructions.

Observe employees to determine the efficacy of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.

Work with Operations Managers and Supervisors to create or update Work Instructions.

Exhibit and practice positive communications and team building skills with trainees to ensure a consistently professional environment.

Review and audit Work Instructions and provide feedback to Managers and Supervisors regarding necessary changes.

Keep supervisor informed of the development of team members and problems incurred.
Skills and Specifications Required:
-
1+ yr experience creating work instructions for a production or similar industry
-
1+ yr experience conducting training in a production, warehouse or manufacturing environment
-
Some leadership experience, abilities and/or qualities
-
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Bi-Lingual English/ Spanish is a big plus
Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

Must be able to stand, sit, walk, pull and bend 100% of the day on a continuous basis

Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. and will occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
