Premier LogiTech ("Premier") is looking for a Production Lead (Technology) to join our team!

The Technology Production Lead coordinates and leads the work of employees on the technology production team, ensuring safety and security of employees, equipment, and product. The incumbent follows best practices for quality and production procedures to execute and complete production projects meeting requirements for each project.
Essential Responsibilities:

Assign work to Employees and follow up on results.

Lead the training and cross training of designated personnel.

Monitor production and safety of personnel in department with strict adherence to all safety and security procedures.

Contribute to the development and evaluation of lean processes related to production projects; ensuring process are being followed and considering continuous improvement.

Ensure all in line quality procedures are adhered to.

Collects data for each project and reports data to operations manager and project managers based on project requirements.

Ensure accurate reporting as assigned.

Ensures production employees are meeting individual production standards and goals and may display that information throughout the shift.

Oversee Housekeeping and 5S activities including daily cardboard disposal into compactor and trash removal.

Ensures inventory integrity within the production staging areas.

Ensures inventory is scanned into correct locations in the production areas.

Ensure completion of required information in the WMS.

Ensure all require project documentation is filed accordingly.

Alerts proper management of any issues with inventory, employees, quality, materials, and equipment.

Tracks and reports shortages of consumable material needed for production.

Attend periodic meetings with Management/Supervisors.

Complete required reports and print documents required for shipping and receiving.

Assist with inventory and warehouse duties as needed.
Skills and Specifications Required:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
1+ yrs. experience working in a lead/supervisory role
-
1+ yrs. experience in production or related environment
-
Experience using (WMS) warehouse management systems
-
Prior experience using RF scan gun

Excellent attention to detail
-
Microsoft Office; must be experienced with Excel

Problem solving skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Flexible to work overtime as business requires
Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time up to 12 hours/day.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment including but not limited to pallet jack, and dolly.

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
