Premier LogiTech ("Premier") is looking for an Associate Planning Analyst to join our team!

Worth area. PREMIER’S growth and expansion of services has created the need for the position of Associate Planning Analyst for Production.

 

Position Summary:

Support the planning team in all facets of production planning, materials planning, MRP planning, obsolescence planning, purchasing, vendor sourcing and qualifying, price and term, expediting, managing/ensuring timely material returning, and product and part end of life planning.

  

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist the coordination and development of production schedule.

  • Assist in tracking production progress on a daily basis.

  • Create job packets, analyze material needs, and establish production schedule based on customer demand and forecast.

  • Accurately maintain and utilize MRP tools, other planning tools, and consider planning factors (UR, Init/Calc, Qty produced, EDI trends, BIC, etc.) to optimize weekly buy plans.

  • Assist in monitoring inventory level and available BOM to support production.

  • Assist in reviewing customer orders and deadlines to support the production plan.

  • Establish weekly build plans that align to available products and parts.

  • Report, manage, oversee and rapidly provide detailed tactical guidance to Operations to reduce risk of parts obsolescence.

  • Review and alert management to any potential excess material and obsolescence write-offs.

  • Assist in the process of purchasing materials, equipment, consumables and spare parts.

  • Support Engineering, Purchasing and Operations Departments with accurate data and reporting.

  • Track product from point of souring, ordering, receipt and sticking to ensure available for production.

 

 Skills and Specifications Required:

  • Microsoft Office: Outlook and Excel (Vlookup, Pivot)

  • Clear communication skills over email and phone

  • Strong analytical skills to understand raw data and developing multiple answers

  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast pace environment

  • Excellent critical decision making, organizational and prioritization skills

  • Superior analytical skills

  • Quick learner

  • Accurate record keeping

 

 Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

  • Work may be performed in an office environment and subject to stressful situations

  • Flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours, including some weekends

  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment on the production floor
