Premier’s growth and expansion of services has created the need for several new positions, including the position of IT Help Desk Technician located in DFW Texas.

Position Summary:

We are currently looking for an Assistant Controller to join our finance team in the Dallas/ Ft Worth market. The Assistant Controller is responsible for all finance activities related to monthly and annual close processes and maintaining financial controls. In addition, the Assistant Controller manages accounting activities related to accounts payable processing, accounts receivable collection, state & local tax compliance, payroll, and treasury processing.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the month-end close process and perform financial statement variance analysis

  • Complete monthly G/L account entries, reconciliation, and analysis

  • Oversee A/R and A/P processes and ensure accuracy and timely follow-up

  • Perform coordination and oversight for areas including payroll, inventory, leases and fixed assets, banking and treasury

  • Coordinate interim and annual audit responses and prepare support and analysis schedules

  • Maintain and update financial controls and tables of accounting systems (MS Dynamics 365 Business Central)

  • Assist in implementation of new systems supporting financial, operational and administrative activities of the company

  • Ensure timely and accurate state and local tax filings (sales, property tax)

  • Assist with annual insurance renewals

  • Supervise other accountants and clerical staff in a team environment

 

 

Skills and Specifications Required:

 

  • CPA or CPA candidate

  • Bachelor's degree and/or master’s degree in accounting

  • 7-10 plus years of experience, and 3-5 plus years of supervisory experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central highly desired, experience with MS Navision or Great Plains considered

  • Experience in manufacturing, inventory / distribution, project accounting and/or technology services required

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams

  • Experience and proficiency with Crystal Reports analysis tool, or similar application(s)

  • Experience in systems implementation/conversion desirable

  • Organized with strong attention to detail

  • Must have high energy and enjoy training and developing others

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Desire for future career development and growth
