Premier LogiTech ("Premier") is looking for a Box Truck Driver to join our team!

Worth area. PREMIER’S growth and expansion of services has created the need for the position of a Driver located in North Texas.

 

 

Responsible for providing direct customer service to clients while performing deliveries and pickups from warehouse to businesses on scheduled routes throughout DFW Metroplex operating a Box Truck.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Pick-up goods and materials from customer locations and return to Premier’s warehouse or third-party locations.

  • Make scheduled deliveries from Premier’s warehouse to businesses

  • Load and unload palletized materials using pallet jack

  • Act as a trusted representative for Premier Logitech, developing a rapport to provide excellent service to customers

  • Follow standard documentation procedures to obtain required sign off on pick-ups and deliveries using assigned tablet

  • Adhere to all safety standards, company policy and procedures both on the road and while loading/unloading materials

 

Skills and Specifications Required:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • A valid driver’s license, with clean driving record

  • 2 years of experience operating Box Truck up to 26 feet

  • Prior trucking, warehouse, and/or delivery experience

  • Prior experience operating a pallet jack

  • Ability to load and unload palletized materials

  • Understanding of how to palletize and secure equipment to a pallet

  • Ability to work well independently

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills for customer interaction

  • Basic computer skills to effectively use tablet and mobile devices

  • Familiar with Service Now ticketing system

  • Familiar with using navigation systems (GPS devices)

  • Must be available to work overtime as needed to complete scheduled deliveries and pick-ups

 

Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

  • Must be able to properly operate pallet jack

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time up to 8 hours while driving

  • Excellent vision, hand, and eye coordination
